The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Tournament Hosting Information

In order to submit a tournament sanctioning request:

The Hosting Agreements include the name and contact information of the Referee Assignor for the tournament. The Assignor must be currently certified by U.S. Soccer.

The Host Association/Field Permission letter is a letter confirming that a North Texas Soccer member association will host the tournament and the association grants permission for tournament games to be played on fields within the association’s area. The letter must include the name and dates of the tournament and the name of the complex/fields where tournament games will be played. The letter must be from the President of the Host Association.

The tournament rules will include and are not limited to all modifications to the International Football Association Board (IFAB) Laws of the Game and North Texas Soccer tournament rules, registration requirements and procedures, cancellation policy, inclement weather policy, discipline procedures and emergency contact information. All modifications to the IFAB Laws of the Game and North Texas Soccer tournament rules are subject to approval by North Texas Soccer. The tournament rules must include the following inclement weather cancellation refund policy:  If inclement weather cancels the tournament prior to the completion of a team’s first scheduled game of the tournament, a maximum of fifty percent (50%) of the team’s entry fee may be retained by the tournament to cover start-up cost of the tournament.

The entire sanctioning request, including Application to Host, Hosting Agreement, fee payment, rules, and Host Association/Field Permission letter, must be submitted at least 120 days prior to the start of the tournament. If the sanctioning request is submitted less than 120 days prior to the start of the tournament, the following late fees will accrue:

Once a sanctioning request has been approved, we will email confirmation to the Tournament Director and the Host Association. Sanctioned tournaments will be published in the appropriate monthly list of tournaments on the North Texas Soccer website and will be published in our electronic newsletter, The Pitch.  Sanctioned youth tournaments will be published on the US Youth Soccer website, in the Tournaments Database.

The Post Tournament Evaluuation Report is due withing 14 days afte completion of the tournament.
