Paul Pogba, Riyad Mahrez, Dimitri Payet, Lassana Diarra, Édouard Mendy, Benjamin Mendy and Steve Mandanda all called the club home in their formative years. Over the past 4 decades, Le Havre has become known as one of the most prestigious academies in France. Le Havre AC technical director Michael Bunel is rightly proud of the achievements of the club’s ‘famous Academy.’ He puts their success with nurturing talents like PaulPogba, Benjamin Mendy and Dimitri Payet down to one thing that separates good players from the top players - football intelligence.
