"D" License

"C" License

North Texas Soccer manages National courses through the U.S. Soccer's Learning Center (USSLC). All aspects of the course, including registration, completion of course pre-requisite licensing, submission of coursework, evaluation of candidates, and communication between instructors, administrators, and candidates will be conducted through the USSLC. In order to participate in a National License course, you must enroll in the USSLC and set up your coach’s profile. There is no charge to enroll in the USSLC. When enrolling in the USSLC, you must provide all requested information, including full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, and mailing address. You may enroll in the USSLC here

U.S. Soccer National “D” License Course

National “D” License Course Presented by North Texas Soccer:  April 26-28, 2019, and June 29-30, 2019

 

Eligibility:  The “D” License course is open to all applicants who are at least 16 years old and who have earned a minimum of three of U.S. Soccer’s four Grassroots Licenses in the form of two in-person courses and one online course:

 

1.    Two in-person courses, one of which must be the 11v11 course

2.    One online course across any of the four Grassroots levels:  4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11

 

A candidate who has earned the National F License through the online course previously offered by U.S. Soccer is not required to complete #2 above and will be eligible to register for a National D License course after completing #1 above.

 

A candidate who has earned a National “E” License is eligible to register for a National D License course without completing #1 or #2 above. In order to register for the “D” license course, a candidate holding an “E” License must complete U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to the Grassroots Courses module. This free online module is available in U.S. Soccer’s Learning Center (USSLC).

Candidates will attend course sessions held over two weekends. Candidates must attend all course sessions in their entirety on both weekends to be eligible to earn the National “D” License. No exceptions.

National “D” License Course Presented by Fort Worth Youth SA:  June 14-16, 2019, and August 17-18, 2019

National “D” License Course Presented by Heart of Texas SA:  September 13-15, 2019, and November 9-10, 2019

U.S. Soccer National “C” License Course

December 4-8, 2019 and January 22-26, 2020

Pre-requisites:  Candidates must be at least 18 years old, must be actively coaching, and must have earned a U.S. Soccer National “D” License on or before December 4, 2018.

U.S. Soccer recognizes certain foreign coaching certificates as fulfilling the prerequisites for this course. Candidates holding recognized certificates may be eligible to apply for entry into a C License course. For more information, please send an email to Christi Heady. In your email, include your name and telephone number. Scan any foreign certificate you have earned into a PDF and attach the PDF to the email.

U.S. Soccer recognizes certain professional playing experience combined with certain coaching experience as fulfilling the prerequisites for this course. Candidates with at least two years of playing experience with a Senior National Team and/or two years of playing experience on a FIFA-recognized “1st Division” outdoor professional team may be eligible to apply for entry into a C License course. In your email, include your name and telephone number and share details regarding your professional playing experience – name of team and club, name of league(s), and start and end dates of your contract(s). Share all details regarding your coaching experience – name of team and club, start and end dates of your time with the club, your title with the club, your title with each team (Head Coach, Assistant Coach, etc.), and the gender and age group of each team coached.

Location:

All session of the course will be held in Fort Worth, Texas.

Schedule:

During each of the two meetings of the course, the session on Day 1 will be held 11:00 am – 8:30 pm. Sessions on Days 2-4 will be held 9:00 am – 8:30 pm and the session on Day 5 will be held 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. (Times are subject to change.)

Registration Fee: $1,500.00

US Youth Soccer National Youth Coaching Course
The National Youth Coaching Course is designed to provide club directors of coaching, youth coaches, physical education teachers, and soccer administrators with the knowledge to successfully structure soccer environments for children aged 4-12.

Course pre-requisites: Candidates must hold a U.S. Soccer National E License.
