"D" License

"C" License

North Texas Soccer manages National courses through the U.S. Soccer Digital Coaching Center (DCC). All aspects of the course, including registration, completion of course pre-requisite licensing, submission of coursework, evaluation of candidates, and communication between instructors, administrators, and candidates will be conducted through the DCC. In order to participate in a National License course, you must enroll in the DCC and set up your coach’s profile. There is no charge to enroll in the DCC. When enrolling in the DCC, you must provide all requested information, including full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, and mailing address. You may enroll in the DCC here

U.S. Soccer National “D” License Course

National “D” License Course Presented by Fort Worth Youth SA:  December 7-9, 2018, and February 2-3, 2019

Eligibility:  The “D” License course is open to all applicants who are at least 16 years old and who have earned a minimum of three of U.S. Soccer’s four Grassroots Licenses in the form of two in-person courses and one online course:

1.    Two in-person courses, one of which must be the 11v11 course

2.    One online course across any of the four Grassroots levels:  4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11

A candidate who has earned the National F License through the online course previously offered by U.S. Soccer is not required to complete #2 above and will be eligible to register for a National D License course after completing #1 above.

A candidate who has earned a National “E” License and who has held that license for a minimum of six months is eligible to register for a National D License course without completing #1 or #2 above. In order to register for the “D” license course, a candidate holding an “E” License must complete U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to the Grassroots Courses module. This free online module is available in U.S. Soccer’s Digital Coaching Center (DCC).

Schedule:  

Candidates will attend course sessions held over two weekends. Candidates must attend all course sessions in their entirety on both weekends to be eligible to earn the National “D” License. No exceptions.

First Meeting:

Friday, December 7, 2018; 6:00 pm -- 10:00 pm
Saturday, December 8, 2018; 9:00 am – 7:30 pm
Sunday, December 9, 2018; 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Second Meeting:

Saturday, February 2, 2019; 8:00 am – 7:30 pm
Sunday, February 3, 2019; 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

The maximum number of course participants is 36. Registration closes at 11:00 pm on Sunday, November 18, 2018; or when the course sells out, whichever occurs first.

National “D” License Course Presented by City Development Academy:  February 1-3, 2019, and April 6-7, 2019

U.S. Soccer National “C” License Course

October 28 – November 4, 2018, and January 25-27, 2019:  National C License course hosted by North Texas Soccer

 

Course pre-requisites:  Candidates must be at least 18 years old, must be actively coaching, and must have earned a U.S. Soccer National “D” License on or before October 28, 2017. There is a waiver application process for a coach who holds certain foreign licenses or has three years coaching experience, at any level, and three years playing experience with a Senior National Team and/or three years playing experience on a FIFA-recognized 1st Division outdoor professional team. Coaching and playing experience must be visible in the coach’s profile in the U.S. Soccer Digital Coaching Center (DCC). Waiver requests for this course must be submitted through North Texas Soccer in order to be considered for this course. Second Session, January 25-27, 2019, Location:

Fort Worth, TX

 

Candidates must attend all sessions of the course in their entirety in order to be eligible to earn the National C License. During the Instructional Phase of the course, October 28 – November 4, 2018, sessions will be held  2:00 pm – 9:00 pm on October 28, 8:00 am – 9:00 pm on October 29 – November 3, and 8:00 am – 2:00 pm on November 4. The final schedule for the Evaluation Phase of the course, January 25-27, 2019, is to be determined; plan to attend sessions 8:00 am – 9:00 pm on January 25-26, and 9:00 am – 3:00 pm on January 27. (Times are subject to change.)

 

Registration Fee: $1,500.00

 

Registration fee must be paid in full at time of registration and the fee does not include transportation, accommodations, or meals. Registration closes at 9:00 am on October 1, 2018.

US Youth Soccer National Youth Coaching Course
The National Youth Coaching Course is designed to provide club directors of coaching, youth coaches, physical education teachers, and soccer administrators with the knowledge to successfully structure soccer environments for children aged 4-12.

Course pre-requisites: Candidates must hold a U.S. Soccer National E License.
