Brandon Gardner and Lorenzo Hernandez were invited to National Camp at IMG Academy in Sarasota, Fla. January 9-12, 2020, and were placed on the National Referee list for 2020.  North Texas was also represented by National Assistant Referee Kaili Terry and PRO prospect Kevin Lock, along with National Referee Coaches Jiim Mills and Nasser Sarfaraz.

Brandon has been a North Texas Soccer referee since 2010 when he registered as Grade 8 (now Grassroots) then quickly moved his way up to Grade 7 and Distinguished Grade 7 (now Grassroots), working many games in the CCSAI Classic League.  His refereeing talent earned him the rank of State Referee (now Regional), and he was selected to attend several USYS Southern Regional events and was chosen in the top 25 at the tournament and was selected to referee the USYS National Championships.  He also has been selected to referee USASA Regionals, US Open Cup and semi-professional events.

Lorenzo has also been a North Texas Soccer referee since 2010.  Lorenzo worked his way up from through Arlington Soccer Association.  Lorenzo follows in his father’s footsteps in reaching the rank of National Referee.  Lorenzo has been selected to attend several USYS Southern Regionals and ranked as one of the top officials and selected to referee the USYS National Championships.  Lorenzo has also refereed USASA Regionals, US Open Cup, and semi-professional games.

Congratulations to our outstanding referees, assistant referees, and referee coaches.  Thank you for representing the North Texas Soccer Referee Program well.
