FRISCO, Texas (Jan. 5, 2017) – Eight former North Texas Soccer players were named National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Americans. The All-Americans were formally acknowledged at the NSCAA All-America Luncheon on January 14, 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in conjunction with the 2017 NSCAA Convention.

Reagan Dunk was named a NCAA Division I First Team All-American after leading Denver University to the semifinals of the Men’s College Cup. The 2015 Second Team All-American is also a three-time First-Team All-Summit League player and a two-time defending Summit League Defensive Player of the Year. The Dallas native spent his youth days playing for Solar Soccer Club.
Brandon Aubrey was selected as a Division I Third Team All-American in his senior year playing for Notre Dame. The Plano, Texas native started every game for the Irish while finishing second on the team in goals (9) and points (19). Aubrey won five US Youth Soccer North Texas State Cup titles and reached the finals of the 2009 US Youth Soccer Region III Championships with Dallas Texans. Aubrey has also played in the prestigious US Youth Soccer National League while gathering US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Premier League (SRPL) West, Chamber Classic Soccer Alliance Classic League and Dallas Cup titles.
Casie Ramsier was named a Third Team All-American and has recorded the most shots in Auburn University history. The Dallas native finished the season ranking second on the team in goals scored (12) and points (31), while leading the team in Shots on Goal (48). Ramsier is a North Texas Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) alum while also playing for the US Youth Soccer Region III ODP team from 2007-10. The senior midfielder also competed in the SRPL and Lake Highlands Classic League with Solar.
Flavio Guzman and Christian Okeke were named NCAA Division II First and Second Team All-American respectively while leading Midwestern State University to the Division II College Cup quarterfinals. Guzman was named a 2015 Second-Team All-American and was named to the All-Heartland Conference First-Team while ranking third on the team in scoring with six goals and five assists. Okeke, who hails from Wichita Fallas, Texas, was named the Heartland Conference Offensive Player of the Year after leading the Mustangs with nine goals and adding four assists. Guzman played his club soccer for Oak Cliff United and competed in the 2009 North Texas State Cup. Okeke placed third in two seasons of the SRPL West and reached the finals of the 2011 North Texas State Cup with FC Premier.
Julia Harrison was chosen to the Division II Third Team while playing at St. Edwards University. The senior midfielder from Tyler, Texas was named to the Heartland Conference First-Team four straight years and was third on the team in minutes played. Harrison played her youth soccer with Sting and TFC. Harrison competed in the SRPL, Classic League and twice reached the finals of the North Texas State Cup with TFC. Harrison also played North Texas ODP from 2010-11.
Trinity University players Austin Michaelis and Kellen Reid represented North Texas on the NCAA Division III All-American teams as sophomore forward Michaelis was named to the First Team, while junior defender Reid was selected to the Second Team. Both players are Coppell, Texas natives, while Michaelis started every game for Trinity and led the team in goals (11) and points (31), and Reid ranked fourth on the team in points with seven goals and five assists. Michaelis reached the semifinals of the North Texas State Cup twice and made it to the finals in 2011 with Andromeda SC. Reid won the 2010-11 National League Blue Division and placed third at the 2011 US Youth Soccer National Championships with FC Dallas while also playing multiple SRPL and Classic League seasons.
