    2014 President's Cup Champions Announced

    04/09/2014 The 2014 North Texas Soccer President’s Cup finished in Cedar Hill on March 16 with 13 State Champions braving the rainy, windy weather to come out on top. Teams from Arlington, Plano, Lake Highlands, and Chamber Classic Leagues competed and won titles, with U13-U17 earning a berth in Regionals in Alabama in June.

    North Texas to host National Youth License Coaching School

    03/31/2014 The National Youth License (NYL) Coaching School is scheduled for June 13th thru 15th and 20th thru 22nd, 2014. Field and classroom activities will be in the Frisco area. The National Youth License focuses upon the nature of children and the adjustments adults must make to coach them. The course curriculum covers ages from 4 thru 12 years old.

    Registration, bylaw/rule change deadlines for 2014 AGM announced

    02/21/2014 North Texas Soccer's 2014 Annual General Meeting will be held July 11-13 at the Westin Galleria in Dallas, TX. Registration for the AGM is currently underway. The early registration fee is $80, which includes admission to the Friday night reception, a NTSSA goody bag, a polo shirt, admission to the Saturday awards dinner, and a continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

    When it comes to indoor soccer in Dallas, no name is more synonymous with the sport than Tatu. This month the legendary forward and Gordon Jago, the talented coach and administrator who discovered him and led the Dallas Sidekicks to multiple indoor soccer championships, will both be honored with an induction into the Indoor Soccer Hall of Fame.

    North Texas sent three teams to the 1st Copa Rayados Internacional College Showcase in San Antonio, TX, over the Thanksgiving weekend 2013. The competitive format was very unique for a competitive showcase of this nature. Teams and were matched on competitive ability as a result of the outcome of each match, and advanced, or dropped accordingly.

    Due to inclement weather in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex this weekend, The Sport Source has informed North Texas Soccer that it has cancelled this weekend's Showcase Tournament. The Sport Source will try to find an alternate date for the event, but there is no guarantee a reschedule will occur.
