Process begins with State Upgrade Clinic
All requirements must be met within the same calendar year |

Fee |
$35 assessment fee paid at In-service Clinic |

|
The required training, written exam and physical fitness test must all be completed at the same clinic before being put on the "Upgrade Candidate" list for assessment. |
|
If a fitness test or written exam are not given, or are not passed, at the State Upgrade Clinic, it must be completed as soon afterward as reasonable. |
|
Any failing assessment must be offset by an additional passing assessment. |
|
Referees failing two assessments in the same Upgrade Cycle, will be removed from the “Upgrade Candidate” list, and must start over at the end of the current Upgrade Cycle. |
