Ross Stewart Memorial ODP Scholarship Fund Raffle
All proceeds from the sale of tickets for this raffle will go to the Ross Stewart Memorial ODP Scholarship Fund or to the North Texas Soccer member association that sells the ticket. Each ticket will be sold for $10 with 50% going to the ODP Scholarship Fund and 50% going to the local association selling the ticket for the promotion and development of soccer within the territory of the association.
North Texas Soccer Employees, Board Members or their immediate families are not eligible for this drawing. There is no limit on the number of tickets an individual may purchase however, the same person may only win one of the three prizes. Anyone whose name is drawn a second time will not be eligible to win the prize for which their name was drawn and another ticket will be drawn for that specific prize. The drawing for all three prizes, from Third Prize to Grand Prize, will take place on Saturday afternoon January 10, 2009 at the conclusion of the North Texas Soccer Semiannual Meeting.
(North Texas Soccer is a 501(c) (3) corporation formed under the Texas Nonprofit Corporation Act to foster and advance the cause of soccer within the territory under the jurisdiction of the association. The Ross Stewart Memorial ODP Scholarship Fund was founded in order to assist economically challenged players to participate and compete in the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program. This fund was named in honor of Ross Stewart who served as President of the North Texas State Soccer Association from 1992 until his death in 1994.)
